Surviving the cold!
Well 2 weeks ago we took alex to the doctors for a recheck on his tubes to find out he had a plugged tube in his right ear. Which meant it was infected again? After some antibiotics and some ear drops things seem to be cleared up. We go thursday to recheck his ears again. We also go tomorrow for his 9 month checkup to see how big he is!! He probably weighs 24 lbs or so I'm thinking. As for Joshy he has been sick the last few days. We actually had to go get chest x rays and, they drew blood to find out he had a viral infection. He had a temp of 103, on Wednesday. He still has a fever on and off and of course we have been going through lots of kleenex with him blowing his nose. We have had very little success potty training. But showing interest in sitting on the potty.

Of course we cannot forget about chauncey!!!

Christmas Day and Break
Well Alex had tubes in his ears about 3 weeks ago. He is doing really well since his surgery. He is talking more no words yet. Getting into all of Josh's toys. He is officially crawling and attempting to walk already. Some of alex's new accomplishments: moved onto meats in the baby food department, up to 22 1/2 lbs, does not like his car seat, loves eggs, working on trying to say mama and all we get is mmmmmm. He is working on cutting his two top teeth. One of them has just poked through other one should be on the way anytime.
Josh is becoming quite the little chatter box. Repeats everything :) not always a good thing. He has been using the potty at day care but not success yet. But he loves to wash his hands. Just is putting together thoughts and ideas and concepts. Has a tractor and a workbench. Uses the tractor to push blocks and says "plow like gampa" and scoop like gampa. Using his tools, saw, hammer, etc...cut like gampa.
In a couple day it will be back to work again. We have really enjoyed being able to be home with the boys. We have had a lot of snow and then we have lost a lot of snow. But there is still more to come.
