Everytime daddy and Josh go outside he insists
on going on the vroom vroom which is the riding
lawn mower. Throws a tantrum if sees it and can't
go on a little ride. He definately loves to be outside.

Josh loves his girl scout cookies, trying a bite of thin mints :) What a mess he was!!!

Alex

Alex had his first 1 week visit to the doctors, he was almost back up to his birth weight after a week which the docters where very impressed and he had grown a 1/2 inch.

Alex is at least giving us 3 hours at a time, then starving when he wakes up. Is also becoming very alert with his surroundings. Brother gets a little rough sometimes but is learning gentle.

Big Brother Love

With a little help from daddy Josh is really showing interest and helping with Alex. Wants to hold him all the time. Gets bottles, burp cloths, takes care of diapers, and is really being a great big brother. Josh really loves his little brother Alex. Loves to hold him and give him lots of kisses. Both doing wonderful!!!!

First week at home!

Everyone is doing great. Been really busy trying to adjust to Josh's and Alex's needs :). Josh is being a great big brother, he will go get a binky, blanket, or a diaper if you ask him to for Alex. He gives Alex big kisses before he leaves to go to daycare in the morning and before he goes to bed at night.

Alex is breastfeeding well, is becoming more alert to what is going on around him. Trying to hold his head up.

Alex is sleeping well at night for us. Josh has been sleeping all night and is doing well with the adjustment for the most part.

Alex arrived April 17th at 8:08 AM, he weighed in at
8lbs. 5 oz. 20 inches long. Mommy and Alex are doing
great. They will be leaving the hospital on Sunday.

Waiting Alex's Arrival

This will probably be the last update until Alex is born. We have a scheduled c-section at 8:00 a.m thursday morning. Once we arrive home we will try to put pictures and updates on how everyone is doing. Because many of you are awaiting the arrival of Alex, especially those who cannot see him right away. We will try to be quick about getting pictures up so you can see them!!!

What a crazy weekend?

Everyone is doing great. Josh came down with an earache on Wednesday, went to the doctors on Thursday put him on antibiotics. Friday night we ended up in ER with him, due to him being in so much pain. Gave him some numbing drops for his ear. Is doing much better and starting to get back to normal.

Alexander Robert

We are getting ready for Alex to enter our family on Thursday morning with a scheduled C-section. Josh and everyone will be there to welcome him. I'm surviving and definately counting down the days. I am done working and will be spending the next few days resting and getting odds and ends tied up before we get to bring Alex home on Saturday afternoon. We will try to keep it updated as possible, but getting a routine with two littles ones will be a little challenging. Eric will be spending the first weeks home to help out while I recover.

Spring Time

It was a beautiful weekend, all of us spent a lot of time outside playing. Of course Josh did not want to come inside when it was time. He loves to be outdoors.

At Grandma and Grandpa's

Down at Grandma and Grandpa's riding what used to be uncle chris's pedal bike. Not big enough to reach the pedals but boy did Josh have fun. Then decided to help grandpa sweep the drive way.
